Forza Summer Party ‘24

“Perhaps we met here because of the cars, but that doesn’t mean that we should talk them now. We can do it tomorrow, during the main part of the event. Now it’s time to enjoy the food, wine and company” - this sentence could summarize what the ForzaItalia.pl Summer Party is about.

For some people, one day is not enough to enjoy the ForzaItalia.pl event. That’s why they come to Pałac Rozalin in the afternoon the previous day to enjoy the very informal and friendly atmosphere of the Summer Party. Upon arrival, cars are being randomly left on a grassy meadow, and their occupants rush to booths with live-cooked food and wine.

Pałac Rozalin, the place where all of this is happening, is happy to show the best skills of the crew of their restaurant Oficyna. Everything is happening in front of the eyes of those standing in the queue. The longer one stands there, the harder it gets to decide on the dish. Shrimps were tempting, but the way caccio e pepe was being prepared left no choice: I had to try it. It was worth the wait.

It’s called an automotive event, but cars are not the stars of it. Only a machine with unique qualities can get attention and there was one: The Iso Rivolta S4 brought here by Adam and Marta from Giełda Klasyków. When was the last time you saw one of those? For me, it was probably never. Unique design, luxurious interior made of uncompromised materials, Italian design complemented with American muscle under the bonnet: my writing skills are way to poor to describe all the emotions the car evokes. No wonder the following day it won the Concorso d’Eleganza part.

Is the Summer Party only a part of a buildup before the main event, or can it be treated as a standalone experience? Everyone can have their opinion, but for me, it’s a unique opportunity to have a relaxed chat with my friends, without any distractions or rush.
