Forza 2024!

By looking at the photos from the last edition of the event, one can have a problem guessing when it took place. Spring, summer or fall. Characteristic elements of all those seasons were visible. Those unique conditions were like icing for this already amazing event.

The event is dedicated to all the enthusiasts of Italian cars, bikes and culture. The event has a long legacy and is organized for way over 10 years. Their venue were always picturesque gardens of palaces located around Warsaw. For the last few years, the event settled in the welcoming Pałac Rozalin, located to the south-west from the Polish capital. The main part of the event took place on Sunday, the 2nd of June, but it was preceded by a Summer Party, which I already described in my previous story.

As usually, at the beginning of my story from the ForzaItalia.pl event, I need to place two short disclaimers. Firstly, as I’m happy to be a member of the team of the organizers, don’t expect me to be objective. I’ll only write about the facts and to judge if the event was any good, please take a look at the happy faces of the participants. Second disclaimer for the Italian readers: don’t be fooled by name. It has nothing to do with Italian politics.

The main part of the event is traditionally the exposition of classic and unique cars. The background for it is always the charming palace. This year was no different. From the cute little people movers to mighty supercars – everyone could find something that suited their taste.

It’s worth noting, that one does not need to have a valuable piece of machinery to take part in the event. A vast meadow behind the palace is full of the daily drivers. The atmosphere at this part of the area, which is created solely by the participants, can easily be compared to the one in the official section.

Thanks to close collaboration with the local Alfa Romeo representatives, it becomes a tradition, that the event is a place for the country’s launches of new models from Arese. The car of the year: Junior. This was a big thing! It was one of the first opportunities to see the vehicle in the world. When the car visible on the stand arrived at the venue, it still had stickers from the factory. On them, one could read, that it was manufactured less than 24 hours before! That’s what you call a new car.

Expositions, picnics and launch of a new model are still only a little part of the attractions for the participants. One of the important parts of each edition is a tourist rally. It gives some of the drivers and their passengers an opportunity to enjoy their vehicles while traveling through carefully selected picturesque roads of the region. For those who wish to enjoy more stationary attractions, there is a wide selection of presentations and many stands from the partners of the event.

An event devoted to Italian culture couldn’t be executed without a carefully assembled menu and delicious dishes. Pizza, variety of pasta and obviously ice creams: no one was leaving the event hungry.

The final position of the agenda is always the Concorso d’Eleganza. Here, the whole crowd gathers in front of the palace, where the most interesting cars are being presented. Awards are handled in two categories: for the unique car and for the most interesting package: car + passengers.

ForzaItalia.pl event is always a highlight in each year’s calendar. Tho opportunity to meet with so many friends and passionate people are giving me a lot of energy for the reminding part of the season. See you next year!
